Transplant Football coming to Nottingham
U-Try Transplant Football Hub -Nottingham
Our 1st ever U-try Hub will be held on Sunday the 15th of May 2022, giving transplant men and women another chance to participate.
The England Transplant Football Association will run mini-trials and an introduction to Transplant Football and Futsal. Including some initial fitness and skills tests.
What’s Involved in the Sessions?
Although our Holland friendly is on the 28th of May, we are still on the search for players for our development squad and Women’s Senior team. There are more Internationals friendlies on the calendar for 2022, including Charity matches.
These hubs are a great way to find out more about what is involved in transplant football. The format we play, the rules of the game but most of all, meeting like-minded transplant recipients who love football.
Who can attend the Transplant Football Hubs?
The Nottingham transplant football hub is for all genders aged 16-50+ who have received an organ, stem-cell or Xeno transplant. Who may want to take up the game regionally as a social sport or progress on to one day maybe play for England?
We would love to see the transplant community come together, and if not to take part, then why not come along and support us. Refreshments will be provided on the day, and the U-try hubs are free to attend.
